Getting
Here and Around Rome
In the heart of the eternal city of Rome lie the Spanish
Steps and by them, the Spanish Steps Suites – exclusive
accommodation for those wanting to make the trip of a lifetime
as romantic as possible. The historical centre is all around
us, though in a city nearly 3000 years old, one tends to find
the historical centre covers rather a lot of ground. Here
at Spanish Steps Suites we’ve provided one or two tips.
Getting to the Spanish Steps Suites
Airport Transfer
We’d be delighted to meet you at the airport. Check
our Booking Extras for the current price of an airport transfer
in the comfort and luxury of a chauffer-driven car or limousine.
We’ll even give you a little bit of a tour as we tackle
the infamous traffic of the city and our prices, like our
room rates, are very competitive!
Going it alone
Take the Leonardo Express Train from Leonardo
da Vinci (FCO) Airport
or
the Terravision shuttle Bus from Ciampino (CIA)
Airport
to
Termini Central Train Station.
From here, take the Metro Line A to Spagna.
Check-in for both properties of the Spanish Steps Suites
is at Via Babuino, number 127, about 100 metres from the Metro
Station. Print out the map at the bottom of the page to help
you.
Check in is usually between 2 and 7pm, please let us know
if you’re arriving later.
A taxi from Leonardo da Vinci Airport costs € 40 fixed
price – make sure your driver ‘remembers’
this before you get in.
A taxi from Ciampino Airport costs € 30 fixed price
– make very sure your driver ‘remembers’
this before you get in, as taxi drivers here are notorious.
A taxi from Termini Station should cost no more than about
€ 10.

Trastevere: Take the 117 bus from Via del
Corso down to Piazza Venezia, the H bus.
Or
